SHOW UP

When we show up as a unified force things begin to shift, and change happens.

Take for example when folks who boycotted in Montgomery, Alabama shifted in their thought to no longer take the bigotry enacted toward them. Their money afforded them the right to ride anywhere they desired on the bus and was thwarted by bigots who thought otherwise. The shift to no longer stand for segregated buses brought about a change.

Fast forward seven decades later and that same shift to not shop at Target brought an economic change in revenue. Never doubt what it means to “Show Up,” because when we show up there is a shift and then the change.
